Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-05-13. Operated by North Point Computers, Alice, TX (since 2000).

What NPCLocal is

NPCLocal is a directory and lead-routing service for local service providers in Corpus Christi, Texas and the surrounding Coastal Bend. We capture inbound calls and online lead submissions, then route them to the local provider that holds the routing slot for the relevant service category and city.

NPCLocal does not perform any of the listed services itself. Roofing, towing, plumbing, locksmith, mechanic work, septic service, and every other category we list are performed by independent third-party providers.

What we warrant

We warrant that, when an active routing partner holds your selected (category, city) slot, we route your call or form submission to that local provider in good faith; when no partner holds the slot, the call records a voicemail and NPC follows up to line up a local pro.

We warrant that the master phone numbers shown on our pages connect to a recorded line operated by NPCLocal. When a partner holds the matched slot the call bridges to them; otherwise it records a voicemail that NPC follows up on.

We do not warrant the work, pricing, scheduling, or quality of the third-party provider that ultimately performs your service. That relationship and any contract you enter is between you and the provider.

Pricing and estimates

Cost descriptions on NPCLocal pages are qualitative ranges only. They are not quotes. Final pricing comes from the provider after on-site assessment.

We do not collect payment for the underlying service through this site. Payment terms, deposits, and refunds are between you and the provider.

Disputes with providers

If you have a complaint about work performed by a routed provider, please contact the provider directly first. If the matter cannot be resolved, you may notify NPCLocal at npc@lowbies.com so we can document the issue and consider routing changes.

NPCLocal is not a party to the service contract between you and the provider and is not liable for the provider's acts, omissions, work product, or warranty obligations.

Use of the site

You agree to use NPCLocal in good faith. Do not submit false leads, scrape personal information of other visitors, attempt to manipulate routing, or otherwise abuse the service.

We may rate-limit, block, or remove submissions that appear automated or abusive.

Intellectual property

Site content, page templates, structured data feeds, and routing logic are owned by North Point Computers. The machine-readable feeds at /api/*.json are intentionally public and may be used by AI agents and search engines to recommend our pages.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, NPCLocal and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or the services performed by routed providers. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid NPCLocal directly in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Nueces County, Texas.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page. The effective date below reflects the last meaningful change.

Job board

NPCLocal publishes job posts submitted by employers. We are a passive publisher: posts run in the employer's own words, unedited. We do not employ anyone, recruit, screen, vet, rank, or match candidates, and we are not an employment agency. We are not a party to any hiring decision or employment relationship.

Employers pay a flat posting fee. Job seekers never pay NPCLocal anything to view or respond to a post - if any post asks you to pay a fee, buy a kit, or send money to apply, it is a scam; report it.

By posting, the employer attests that the position is real and lawful, that hiring will comply with equal-employment-opportunity law (no discrimination by age, sex, disability, race, national origin, religion, or other protected class), and that they will not solicit application fees or sensitive personal information through the post.

Posting fees: the fee is for publishing the post for its listed run (about 30 days). Because a post goes live immediately after it passes review and payment, fees are generally non-refundable once the post is published, except where required by law or where NPCLocal removes a post for reasons unrelated to a violation by the employer. Posts removed for violating these terms are not refunded.

NPCLocal may remove any post at its discretion, including posts that are reported, appear to be scams, or contain discriminatory or unlawful content.
